Our Story
Hey there! I’m Dr. Sharma , the Founder and CEO of SK Sharma Herb, and I’d love to share our story with you.
It’s a story of passion, perseverance, and a deep love for nature that’s been passed down in my family for three generations.
Dr. Sharma (Founder)
Dr. Sharma is the founder and owner of the herbal cosmetic brand SK Sharma Herbs Teas. With her interest in skin care she was exposed to herbal skin care early in life. With time friends and family became curious about her skin care routine and wanted to know the secret of her skin care regimen.
This paved her way in launching SK Sharma Herb in the year of 2018. Her aim is to make people believe in natural beauty and flaunt their healthy and glowing skin without any makeup with simple herbal skin care regimen.
SK Sharma Herb is extremely well accepted by customers over the last two years. With very limited promotions and mainly word of mouth the products have become very popular among customers in a short span of time. Dr. Sharma has always prioritized quality of the products over any other aspects. The best quality herbs and raw materials are sourced from different parts of India. He holds a Bachelor degree and also an university rank holder with a MBA degree from SRM University. He is a part time guest lecturer for Post Graduate students in the field of marketing, HR and placement training in colleges like SRM, Kings Engineering, M.O.P Vaishnav and SIET colleges. He won lots of accolades and titles in fashion and co-curricular activities.
Rooted in tradition
Our story began with Namdeo Umaji
The oldest seed company in India, founded by my great-grandfather in 1885.
As a young boy, I spent my days in his Byculla shop, surrounded by the promise of life contained in tiny seeds. Those formative years really were the stepping stones of SK Sharma Herb own journey.
Inspired by this legacy, I went off to the U.S. to pursue a degree in landscaping Architecture.
When I returned, I knew the time was right to blend our family’s historic agricultural roots with modern, cutting-edge technology.
That’s how SK Sharma Herb came to life in 2015.
Growing against the odds
It’s easy to think about it now, but from 2016 to 2020, we didn’t really know what we were up against.
Home gardening wasn’t exactly a trend in India then. But we saw it as an opportunity to create an entirely new category. And that’s because we weren’t just another plant shop.
SK Sharma Herb is a science-driven company, thoroughly researching and breeding plants according to what you, our community, truly needs.
It’s all about bringing a differentiated experience to you.
So we opened up channels, established organized retail, and
